ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi – Nakuru National Park

You’ll be picked by our driver/tour guide in the morning and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park on enroute game drive as you get to enjoy the majestic views of the Great Rift Valley and arrive just in time for lunch, check-in at the lodge and a short rest before embarking on the late afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is perfect for bird watching boasting over 400 recorded species of birds including thousands of flamingoes on its shoes. Lake Nakuru is a home to over 100 rhinos both white and black rhinos with majority being of the black species. Other large mammals found at this park include giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and Hippos.

Meals and Overnight Stay at the Lodge

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Depart from Nakuru after breakfast and head to Naivasha. Visit Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, rock climbing (extra charges apply), and breathtaking landscapes. Explore the nearby geothermal hot springs. You will go for boat ride in Lake Naivasha to see hippos and birdlife and a visit to Crescent Island while at it.

Dinner and Overnight stay at the lodge

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve

After Breakfast depart for Maasai Mara. Arrive at the camp/lodge in time for lunch. Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grass ensures animals are never out of sight. After lunch and a short rest, you’ll embark on an evening game drive. At Masai Mara you are sure to have an adventurous experience from the beautiful African wilderness, the stretching savannas and get to see numerous wildlife in their natural habitat. Masai Mara is famous for the wildebeest migration and is home of hundreds of bird species and many large animals include the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard.

Day 4: Masai Mara Full Day

After breakfast you’ll embark on a full day game drive with packed lunch exploring the captivating landscapes and grasslands of the great Masai Mara. Masai Mara is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range game viewing and photography. Our driver guide will assist you track the various animals including the large predators, and the many bird species at the park. During the peak season you might be luck to witness the Wildebeest migration at the Mara River. You can choose at your own cost to visit Masai village and witness the singing and dancing that are part of the Masai people daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their home and social structure is poignant experience.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi

After an early morning breakfast you’ll check out and depart for Nairobi and be dropped at the hotel.
